ADDDUT - Tool for detecting small leaks using artificial neural networks and Markov networks.

Objectives: Developed in a partnership with ADDlabs laboratory from UFF (Fluminense Federal University), the goals for this project are:

  • Study new techniques for detecting leaks using Artificial Intelligence techniques.
  • Definition of the set of parameters needed for the process.
  • Development of a Computer Prototype for assisting in the diagnosis of small leaks in pipelines with single-phase liquids.

Expected Results: The Technological Product is a Computer Prototype with fitting usability and it permits and facilitates the identification of small leaks thus making it possible to minimize damage attacking the problem at the outset. The projected Academic Products encompass the publication of a paper describing the theoretical foundation for validation in the proposal’s academic environment and in orientation of Master’s students.
